VITA Oracle cards
I’ve printed a D.I.Y 1st edition of my VITA Oracle cards so my clients & you can access your ancestral wisdom & guidance - and sense spirits around you - using these sixty-five handwritten oracle cards.
VITA is latin for ‘life’. The cards title was intuited but recalls the Roman phrase ‘De Vita et Morte’ meaning ‘On/about life & death’.
Each card has a phrase I intuited, some came verbatim from my own ancestors and others from friendly spirits in my Victorian building in Cliftonville which is a converted hospital. I quickly drew the cards by hand as I received the messages and this edition is a reproduction of those original cards, giving them a personal touch.

I’ve used my VITA Oracle cards during my professional tarot readings since 2020 and I’ve discovered they give clear messages in three card spreads and confirm & clarify, in words, Rider Waite Smith tarot messages. My clients are always shocked at how deeply these phrases resonate with them.
I’m proud to print my oracle cards sustainably and at high quality after a long production process in 2024 involving scanning my original cards, designing the printed cards & tuck box, finding a solar powered printer, exploring FSC certified card stocks (from responsible forestry), then exploring print colours and test printing packs to ensure the cards are as original & personal as possible.
I use sustainable palo santo to smoke each deck inside and out while sending the new owner good luck, abundance and ancestral connection through their use of the cards.

Common questions
♡ How should I pick cards?
Any way you you wish is valid. I like to take a deep breath, ask my ancestors for guidance while shuffling and stop when my intuition tells me to (close your eyes if it helps). Then I pull out cards from the top, middle or bottom of the deck. Or sometimes I fan them out and select a card I feel drawn to. They even fly out while I’m shuffling sometimes - when they do it’s your ancestors making sure you get this message, it’s an important/timely one.
♡ How many cards should I pull?
On the back of the Title card in the pack are suggestions for use but feel free to use the cards in whatever way feels right to you. Trust your intuition.
♡ How often should I pull cards?
Whenever you feel the need. Some pull a card daily, others pull cards when they need ancestral guidance or the comfort of ancestral connection.
♡ Can I find out more about a card’s message?
Yes, I post about VITA card meanings on IG @yvettesintuition. If you don’t see your card there, message me through this site and I’ll share my own meaning but keep in mind, the meaning you attach to a card intuitively is just as valid.
♡ Why are some words in capital letters?
While handwriting these phrases, I didn’t realise I capitalised some words, I noticed this later. These words seem to emphasise what you need to action or believe - key words - giving another layer to the card’s message. Often these words confirm or clarify an aspect of a greater message, either across a number of VITA cards or a tarot card’s message.
♡ Why are some cards white on black?
The ten black cards are the ‘major cards’. They have the strongest ancestral messages in the deck. I intuitively chose these cards during the print production process.
